Privacy: You can rest assured that we will not sell, rent, give away, or otherwise divulge your personal information to anyone for any purpose -- period.

SPAM Policy: If you reached this web site as a result of a SPAM e-mail,  please help us find the spammer that contacted you. Forward a copy of the spam e-mail you received to: spam@screensaverwisdom.com

Double Opt-In: We will never send you unsolicited e-mail. We send e-mail only to those who have opted in to receive mail from us.

Once you have given us your e-mail address and permission to send you e-mail, you will receive a message from us at the e-mail address you specified that asks you to confirm that it was indeed you that asked to be added to our mailing list.  We're sorry to have to inconvenience you with this additional message, but the problem of SPAM has gotten so bad that this confirmation is a real necessity to protect both you and us.

Spyware/Adware:  None. Screensavers that are downloaded from the Internet are often used to install spyware on your computer in order to gather your personal information for illicit purposes. None of our products place anything on your computer that you don't want there -- spyware/adware included.

Popup Messages and "Cookies": We use popup messages only rarely, but when we do use a popup on this site as a way of emphasizing certain information, we may place a cookie on your hard disk to ensure that you don't see the popup more than once. Cookies used in this way are completely innocuous in that they gather no information about you or your computer other than the fact that you have seen a given message.

Secure Ordering: The information you enter into any of our order forms is perfectly safe, both while the information is being transmitted and after we receive the completed form. Here's why:

Three Layers of Protection:  Thousands of online transactions are processed daily, and current security technology allows worry-free online transactions. In fact, several layers of protection work for you.

Protection Layer One: Encryption

Your credit card information is encrypted using the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL) code. It takes a network of computers and several months of work to break the code.

Protection Layer Two: Address Verification System (AVS)

Stealing someone's credit card number makes no sense to a thief because they will not be able to use it anyway. When you order online, you must submit your billing address. If it does not match, the transaction will not go through.

Sometimes the AVS blocks even a legitimate order. For example, you move to a new address but forget to notify your credit card company. When submitting an order make sure your billing address matches the one on your credit card statement!

Protection Layer Three: Zero Liability Policy

All major credit cards emphasize that online shopping is safe. You enjoy zero liability on non-authorized purchases if someone has access to your credit card. What do you do if your statement contains something that you did not order? You call your credit card company and dismiss the charge. It's that simple.

Note: We may hold on to your credit card information for up to thirty days following your purchase in order to facilitate refunds, correct any possible errors, and so on. After thirty days your information is purged from our system automatically.

Using a credit card online is actually the safest way to order!
